FAQ
Events
Q: How many events are there each year?
A: We have one main event each year, the TEDxTemecula Conference, held at the Temecula Old Town Theater in the fall. It’s a full day of fascinating speakers, entertainers, and delicious food and wine from our local area. You don’t want to miss it!
In some years we hold additional smaller events called Salons (see below), typically on a weekday evening. At the Salon, a host shows two TED talks and leads the audience in discussion. Snacks are provided as well. Host and location change for each Salon, so watch for announcements. Join our mailing list.
Q: Where should I park for the Conference?
A: The easiest place to park is in the parking structure at Temecula City Hall, just a short walk from the theater.
Q: Do I need to bring a lunch?
A: No, a delicious lunch from E.A.T. Marketplace is included with your ticket. You’ll also enjoy wine tasting from Palumbo Family Winery right after the event.
Q: How can I get involved?
A: Come to our Conference and Salons. And come join our team! TEDxTemecula is an all-volunteer, nonprofit enterprise. We count on people like you to help organize and work at our events, to let us know about people who have an idea worth spreading, and to partner with us to fund events. What would you like to do to help? Contact us to volunteer, speak, or partner.

Q: What's a Salon?
A: A Salon is a small evening event that brings us together to watch and discuss two TED Talks selected by our host. The featured Talks were recorded live, on stage during a TED event somewhere in the world. After each screening, we'll discuss the Idea Worth Spreading presented in the Talk. It's really remarkable what can happen in that conversation!
Tickets cost $10 per person, and include the program and light snacks. Seating is limited.
